Martin Truex Jr. will compete at Atlanta Motor Speedway on Sunday with a broken wrist.
An MRI taken on Monday confirmed that Truex Jr. fractured his scaphoid in a crash on lap 448 of last Saturday nights race at Bristol Motor Speedway.
The wrist injury will not prevent Truex Jr from competing in any of the remaining 11 races on the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series schedule.
Currently Truex Jr. is 14th in the Sprint Cup standings and holds the first of two wildcard spots into the Chase.
