Kyle Larson won the NASCAR Cup Series race at Kansas Speedway by a margin of 0.001, the closest in the history of the sport.
Larson’s thrilling narrow win came at the expense of Chris Buescher who will now be remembered as the driver who finished second.

The start of the event was delayed several hours due to rain. When cars did take to the track several cautions pushed the racing well into the evening.
