After being designated for assignment by the San Diego Padres in May, Wil Nieves inked a minor league deal with the Atlanta Braves.
Nieves, 37, has been serving as a catcher for the Braves Triple-A affiliate but was hitting just .238/.324/.286 and now finds himself again looking for a job.
This could very well be the end of the line for Nieves who never produced much during his time at the big league level.
