Former Major League Baseball player Darryl Hamilton was killed in what authorities believe was a murder-suicide this past weekend.
The 50-year-old Hamilton and his 44-year-old girlfriend Monica Jordan were found dead Sunday in their Pearland, Texas home.
Following the initial investigation, Hamilton was shot several times before Jordan shot herself.
A 14-month old child was found in the house unharmed.
Hamilton had been working as an analyst with the MLB Network. Hamilton spent 13 seasons in the majors as a career .291/.360/.385 hitter with 51 home runs and 163 stolen bases.
