The Atlanta Braves have stayed in contact with free agent pitcher Brandon Beachy.
Earlier this season the Braves opted to non-tender Beachy a contract making the 28-year-old available to sign anywhere.
Beachy is working his way back from a second Tommy John surgery on his right elbow and is expected to be able to pitch in May. He reportedly has met with seven teams over the last two weeks.

The Braves also declined to tender Kris Medlen a contract. Medlen went on to sign with the Royals. Whether or not Beachy and the Braves can find common ground on a contract remains to be seen.
