Braves slugger Ronald Acuna Jr. was hit with a fastball by Mets starter Tylor Megill in the first at-bat of game two of a double header against the Mets.
After being hit with the pitch, Acuna went down for a few moments before being removed from the game.
Kevin Pillar would replace Acuna in right field. X-rays on Acuna were negative according to Braves manager Brian Snitker in the press conference following the game.

The Braves would split the double header with the Mets after they lost the second game 5-3.
In the first game of the double header the Braves won 9-8 and were powered by two three-run home runs by catcher Sean Murphy. Acuna would record three hits in the first game including a mammoth home run in the fifth.

The Braves won the series against the Mets 2 games to 1. Up next for the Braves is a trip to Miami to play the Marlins. Meanwhile the Mets will head to Detroit to play the Tigers.
