Germany’s double luge team of Tobias Wendl and Tobias Arlt claimed the gold on Wednesday’s event at the Sochi Olympic games.
The two man German team beat out Austria’s Andreas Linger and Wolfgang Linger and the Latvia team of Andris Sics and Juris Sics.
Canadian’s Tristian Walker and Justin Snith missed out on a medal by 0.05 seconds. The highest finishing team from the United States was 11th consisting of Christina Niccum and Jayson Terdiman.
