Ryan Kesler sat out Wednesday’s game because of a hand injury he suffered in the Olympics.
Now the center is ready to return to the lineup for Vancouver. He will play on Friday night against the Minnesota Wild.
Kesler, 29, is a candidate for a trade even as he downplays that he has asked for one. Whether or not his hand has any ill effects from Sochi also remains to be seen.
This season Kesler has 20 goals and 18 assists in 60 games this season.
