Running back Toby Gerhart confirmed on Thursdays that he expects to play in Sunday’s game against the Redskins.
The Jaguars had a scare when Gerhart was tackled from behind by Fletcher Cox in Week 1 but it looks like all is good on his ankle.
Gerhart expects to workout on Thursday and should be again handed the ball early and often against a Redskins defense who allowed 115 yards against the Texans in Week 1.

Gerhart ran 18 times for just 42 yards adding two catches and 15 yards against the Eagles in Week 1. Expect a better stat line this week/
