Toxicology reports on former Tennessee Titans kicker Rob Brionas show that he had a blood alcohol level more than twice the legal limit at the time of his single car accident that resulted in his death.

Testing released on Friday by the Davidson County Medical Examiner’s Office shows Bironas had a blood alcohol level of 0.218 percent. The legal limit in Tennessee is 0.08 percent.

An autopsy performed on Brionas showed that he died of blunt force trauma after his SUV went off the road and crashed into trees.

Prior to crashing, Bironas allegedly was involved in two separate cases of road rage the night of the crash.

Bironas married Rachel Bradshaw in June. She’s the daughter of Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback Terry Bradshaw.
