Neither Brian Hoyer or Johnny Manziel impressed in the second preseason game for the Cleveland Browns.
Brian Hoyer got the start against Washington and rotated with first round draft pick Johnny Manziel. Hoyer was a mere 2-of-6 for 16 yards missing a sure touchdown to Andrew Hawkins early.
Manziel was equally as bad choosing to flip the Redskins bench off rather than focus on the field. Maniel was 7-of-16 for 65 yards and a touchdown which was tossed against the second team defense for the Redskins.
Browns coach Mike Pettine wanted to name a starter prior to game three. Hoyer may start the third game just because he is the incumbent.
