It’s official. Johnny Manziel and the Cleveland Browns have agreed to terms on a rookie contract.
Drafted as the No. 22 overall pick, Manziel gets a four-year deal with a fifth year option for 2018. He will battle incumbent Brian Hoyer for the starting quarterback job in Cleveland.

Manziel had been getting most of the snaps in OTAs and minicamp as the Browns work Hoyer back from a torn ACL suffered last season.
While Hoyer will begin training camp as the starter it is clear that Manziel getting on the field is not a question of if but when.
