Lamar Miller is starting to look like the lead running back for the Miami Dolphins. The third-year player has continued to work with the first team while free agent signing Knowshon Moreno has played behind him.

All this could change as Moreno is said to be working himself back into shape but right now the Dolphins are happy with what Miller brings to the field.

“He’s had a very good camp. …This is the time as a third-year player that you’re ready to make a big contribution,” said Dolphins head coach Joe Philbin.

Miller averaged 4 yards a career last season on 177 carries for 709 yards and two touchdowns.
