The New York Jets were believed to be interested in Darrelle Revis and Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie but landed neither star corner.
That has not set well with head coach Rex Ryan who is still more or less coaching for his job going forward. Ryan is probably not pleased that the Jets have nearly $28 million in cap space but have done nothing to improve their defense which has been the backbone of the team since he arrived.
According to Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News all this has Ryan “pissed.”
Friend of Rex Ryan chimes in on news Jets couldn't land Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie (or any legit CB in free agency): "Rex is pissed." #nyj

The Jets began the offseason by releasing he 30-year-old Antonio Cormartie but have done nothing to fix it. While the market has gotten thin right now, there is a chance additional corners could be had in future cuts.
