David Diehl has announced his retirement from the NFL.

Diehl, 33, was expected to retire at the end of the season after his play had fallen off in recent years. He spent his entire NFL career with the New York Giants winning two Super Bowl rings and earning a Pro Bowl nod in 2009.

The veteran made 161 starts in his career which saw him appear all across the Giants offensive line.

While Diehl has retired there is no indication if teammate Chris Snee will follow him.
