Longtime New York Giants guard Chriss Snee could retire this offseason following a hip surgery in October.
According to Dan Graziano of ESPN New York the 32-year-old may choose retirement even though Snee is said to be feeling better.
The Giants have Snee under contract for 2014 at $11.75 million and could save a whopping $7.25 million by releasing him. One scenario is the Giants release him and then re-signing him near the veteran minimum.
Snee is the son in-law of Giants head coach Tom Coughlin.
