The Chicago Bears have signed fullback Tony Fiammmetta to a two-year extension.
Ok so it’s not Jay Cutler re-signing, and truthfully it’s not even as big as the recent extension of kicker Robbie Gould but the 27-year-old has played respectably this season after sitting out for all of 2012.
After missing all of 2012 with a suspected concussion the Bears took a gamble on Fiammetta in June. He’s strickly a blocker as his offensive production has been limited to four catches for 57 yards and not a single rush.
