Brandon Lloyd may be done with the NFL. A free agent, the 32-year-old wide receiver appears in the upcoming zombiie movie “After Effect” which will go direct-to-DVD on Oct. 8.
Lloyd plays the role of Sargent Chuck Lloyd in movie which also features Daniel Baldwin.
According to IMDB, the movie is about a group of college students who sign up for a research study, only later to find out that they’ve unknowingly volunteered their bodies for an ongoing military experiment.
Lloyd was linked to multiple teams this off season but may have opted against signing with an eye on an acting career.
Playing with the Patriots, Lloyd caught 74 passes for 911 yards and four touchdowns last season.
