Josh Freeman is denying that he requested a trade from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Reports circulated prior to Sunday’s game that Freeman asked the Buccaneers for a trade shortly after he missed the teams photo.
“If it’s going on, I need a new camp,” Freeman said after the game.

Also after the game head coach Greg Schiano said that Freeman did not have his captaincy taken away from him due to missing meetings.
The Buccaneers are 0-2 following a close loss to the New Orleans Saints. With noticeable friction between Freeman and Schiano it would not be a surprise to see the Buccaneers change quarterbacks should they lose next week against New England.
