What is your favorite candy? I would venture to say not many listed Jolly Ranchers.
Dallas Cowboys safety Barry Church says his candy habit forced him out of practice at Cowboys camp. Church loves Jolly Ranchers and was munching away on a cherry one when he chipped his tooth.
Church said the chipped tooth was not a big deal until he work up on Monday.
“The pain was crazy,” Church told the Star Telegram.
A trip to the dentist would sideline Church from practice for Tuesday. The Cowboys kept Church out of practice following a root canal but he will return on Wednesday.
Church intends to stick to softer candy going forward.
“I have to stick to the soft stuff – Starburst, Skittles, stuff like that,” he said.
