Ben Roethlisberger: “Knee feels better than ever, I feel good”

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger underwent an arthroscopic procedure to clean up meniscus damage in his right knee on June 5.

Big Ben acknowledged that “wear and tear” took toll on his knee after 13 starts in 2012, but maintained that if he underwent surgery, he would be ready for training camp.

“It feels great, it feels better than ever, like it’s a brand new knee and I feel younger than ever, I feel good,” Roethlisberger said per 7M Sports earlier this week.

Roethlisberger has only played a full 16-game season once, and had surgery on his other knee in 2o05.
