The Jacksonville Jaguars are not interested in adding Tim Tebow to their roster. Jacksonville attempted to acquire Tebow a year ago but the quarterback choose to go to New York.

When new general manager David Caldwell took over the Jaguars said they had no interest in acquiring Tebow who was then under contract with the Jets.

“The Jacksonville Jaguars’ plans do not include Tim Tebow,’’ Jim Woodcock, spokesman for team owner Shad Khan, wrote in an email to the Times-Union shortly after Tebow’s release from the Jets.

Tebow appeared in just 77 offensive plays for the Jets last year and attempted just eight passes. His biggest contributions for the Jets came on special teams blocking in punt formations.
