New York Giants at Washington Redskins point spread, line and preview

The New York Giants will play against the Washington Redskins on Monday night at FedEx Field in Landover, MD. Scheduled for a 8:30 p.m. EST kickoff the game can be seen on ESPN.

With a win on Monday the Giants (7-4) would firmly put themselves in control of the NFC East. At (5-6) the Redskins remain in the hunt for a playoff spot.

So who is favored in the game between the Giants and Redskins? The Giants are 3 point favorites in Monday nights game. The over/under for the game is 50 total points.

The two teams played against each other in Week 7.

During that contest the Redskins played well but rookie quarterback Robert Griffin III made some sloppy errors which allowed the Giants to take the win.

Griffin’s picked off pass by Giants safety Stevie Brown late in the third quarter doomed the Redskins as it set up a 1-yard touchdown run by Ahmad Bradshaw. On Griffin’s next possession he turned the ball over on the ground, fortunately for the Redskins they would intercept Manning and score a field goal. The Giants defeated the Redskins by a score of 27-23.

Despite Griffin’s costly mistakes at the end of that game the Giants defense and head coach have heaved praise on the rookie quarterback.

Expect a similar game on Monday night. Both offenses are scoring 26 plus points per game. Griffin has shown in recent weeks that he is the type of player that the Redskins can rally around. The Giants have been up and down all season but still control their playoff hopes.
