Phildelphia Eagles at Dallas Cowboys point spread, line and preview

Playoffs? Doubtful for both teams.

The Philadelphia Eagles are on their way to whole sale changes for 2013. Dallas was pegged as an eight win team by Vegas to start the season. That is how they have played this season.

The Eagles will play the Cowboys on Sunday night in Cowboys Stadium. Kickoff for this NFC East battle is set for 8:20 p.m. EST.

So who is favored in the Eagles and Cowboys game? The Cowboys are a 10 point favorite in Sunday’s game against the Eagles. The over/under for the game is set at 43 total points.

The Eagles are on a seven game losing skid and without quarterback Michael Vick. Nick Foles has started for the Eagles the last two weeks and may continue as the season closes out. Head coach Andy Reid is expected to be fired at the end of the season and there are many signs that point to Eagles quitting on the season.

Dallas is inconsistent. The defense which was once their strong point has been ravaged by injuries. The offense shows flashes of brilliance and then commits costly turnovers and penalties. Dallas has maintained their spot at or near the top of those categories all season. DeMarco Murray and Felix Jones could both play in this game for Dallas but how much that will help a team that ranks last in the NFL in rushing yards per game and rushing yards per attempt remains to be seen. Dallas was hardly a good running team before Murray got hurt.

When these two teams met a few weeks ago the Cowboys won. The Eagles started that game with Michael Vick at quarterback and were not completely out of the playoff picture yet. Two weeks later it is difficult to imagine the Eagles putting up much of a fight however this is the Dallas Cowboy so anything can happen.
