The Cleveland Browns have the No. 4 pick in the 2014 NFL Draft. In obvious need of a quarterback many have assumed that the Browns would use the pick to select one in the draft.
Blake Bortles, Teddy Bridgewater and Johnny Manziel are considered the top three quarterbacks in the draft but the Browns may have interest in another option.
According to NFL Network’s Daniel Jeremiah the Browns are interested in former Fresno State quarterback Derek Carr.
Reports on Carr have been varied but he could be a end of the first round selection. If the Browns do fancy him they could trade down to one of the other quarterback hungry teams in the draft.
Of course the Browns could simply be floating this information as misdirection. Whether they want to try and ensure they get one of the top three quarterbacks or gauge trade interest in the pick.
