The No. 2 ranked Ohio State Buckeyes (7-1) will host the Purdue Boilermakers (1-7) on Saturday.
Purdue is 0-5 in conference play and has not won a game since their season opening dismantling of Indiana State. Since that time they have been blown out numerous times, though have had a few close games of late.
Ohio State’s only loss came in mid-October to No. 1 ranked Oregon on the road. Since then they have beaten Nebraska and Penn State by a combined 11 points.
The oddsmakers have Ohio State as a 38 point favorite. Ohio State scored 38 or more points in their first four contests but have not topped 35 since despite going 3-1 in that span. Purdue has failed to score 10 or more points in three of it’s seven losses.
The over/under for this contest is currently 54.5.
Ohio State should have no problem defeating Purdue. The question is whether or not they will cover the spread.
