Johnny Manziel impresses Jaguars in combine interviews

While the top three quarterbacks in the 2014 NFL Draft continue to jostle for position, Johnny Manziel is doing all the right things to get himself first off the board.

Manziel met with the Jacksonville Jaguars and knew all their key personnel.

“That was impressive,” general manager David Caldwell said, via MMQB. “He did a really nice job in there. He was prepared for the interview, very prepared.

That’s the point for Manziel who is trying to shake the image of his party-going days at Texas A&M.

“We’ve found nothing that’s come across as a fatal flaw to us,” Caldwell said.

Currently Texas at No. 1, Jacksvonille at No. 3, Cleveland at No. 4 and Oakland at No. 5 are all seeking quarterbacks. There is also the likelihood that St. Louis trades out of the No. 2 pick. It’s hard to imagine Manziel or any of the other quarterbacks lasting too long as Tampa Bat at No. 7 and Minnesota at No. 8 are also in need. After that it becomes dicey with trades.
