Justin Allgaier to return to No. 51 car

Justin Allgaier will continue to drive for Harry Scott who has now formed two new entities: HScott Motorsports with Chip Ganassi and HScott Motorsports with Justin Marks.

Competing as a rookie last season Allgaier appeared in 35 cup races leading 16 laps and posting a best finish of posting a best finish of 15th at Homestead to close out the season.

The alliance with Ganassi will help build a bigger team at the Nationwide Series level for Ganassi signed drivers Kyle Larson and Dylan Kwasniewski.

“The HScott Motorsports with Chip Ganassi partnership formalizes a relationship that has been in the making for a couple of years,” Scott said in a news release. “This is a first step of a partnership that will further develop drivers and provide even more excitement in the NASCAR Xfinity Series.”

Meanwhile the partnership with Marks will feature a four car team of Scott Heckert and rookie candidates William Byron, J.J. Haley and Dalton Sargeant in the K&N Pro Series.
