Jeff Gordon will leave Richmond International Raceway with the points lead in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.
Gordon entered Richmond International Raceway with a 1 point lead over Matt Kenseth. Following 400 laps at the 0.75-mile short track it will be Gordon holding a five point lead over Kenseth.

Winners thus far this season include Kevin Harvick (2), Joey Logano (2), Kurt Busch, Kyle Busch, Carl Edwards, Brad Keselowski, and Dale Earnhardt Jr, these drivers are all but assured a spot in the Sprint Chase.
