Harry Scott purchased Phoenix Racing and last week the No. 51 car took to the track at Chicagoland Speedway with Justin Allgaier behind the wheel.
James Finch’s time as a owner in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series was over.
A week later general manager Steve Barkdoll parted ways with the team.
“We accepted Steve’s resignation from Phoenix Racing and wish him the best going forward as he pursues new opportunities,” Phoenix Racing said in a statement.
The team will name a replacement at a later time.
