Michael McDowell will be the driver of the No. 51 car of Phoenix Racing for this weekends NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
SEM Products Inc. will sponsor the No. 51 Chevrolet SS at the 1.058 mile oval located in Loudon.
McDowell, who has been running in the NSCS since 2008, has participated in 24 Sprint Cup Series events this season, earning a best finish of ninth at Daytona International Speedway in February.
“I’m really excited about the opportunity to drive for Phoenix Racing this weekend in Loudon,” said McDowell. “It’s a great organization that has only gotten stronger with the addition of Harry Scott. I appreciate SEM’s support this weekend and I hope we can go out and give them a great performance.”
Last week Justin Allgaier finished 27th at Chicagoland in the No. 51 Chevrolet in the first race with new owner Harry Scott.
