Chris Buescher to drive No. 16 Boston Strong paint scheme at Darlington

NASCAR Nationwide Series diver Chris Buescher will return to action on Friday night driving the No. 16 Ford Mustang. Buescher’s Roush Fenway Racing powered machine will feature a special ‘Boston Strong’ paint scheme.

“I am happy to carry these colors and try to do our part to support the victims and families impacted by the recent events in Boston,” Buescher said in a team released statement.

Buescher’s car will be red, white and blue with the words Boston Strong on it. The car is to serve as a continued tribute to those impacted by the Boston Marathon. Boston Red Sox owner John Henry is a co-owner of RFR.

The driver who won the 2012 ARCA title finished 7th at Bristol and 17th at Texas in two starts this season in the NNS.
