Danica Patrick was one of the NASCAR star’s to make their prediction during PRN’s “Garage Pass” for this Sunday’s Super Bowl XLVII between the San Francisco 49ers and the Baltimore Ravens.  There were a number of opinions, so what did she and others have to say?

Patrick, who is a Chicago Bear’s fan said, “Bob Parsons (Executive Chairman and Founder of Patrick’s sponsor Go Daddy.com) is from Baltimore and he obviously wants the Ravens to win so I feel some alliance needing to cheer for Baltimore, but, a really want the 49ers to win so I don’t know. I don’t really care. If the Bears aren’t in it I don’t really care”.

Dale Earnhardt Jr., on the other hand said he is disappointed that his favorite team, the Washington Redskins are not playing for the Lombardi Trophy — but he thinks the game will be close. “The Ravens seem to be on a course of destiny. There’s a lot of veterans on that team that know what it takes, so going into that game I think they’ll be the best prepared team. But, the 49ers have been able to overcome adversity early in games so I expect it to be pretty close.”

Both Kurt and Kyle Busch could agree that they thought the Harbaugh brothers coaching against each other was cool. Kurt said he hopes the game is a blow-out much like the game between Alabama and Notre Dame – while Kyle said, “it’s a tough one to pick, but I like the niners”

Matt Kenseth, a Green Bay Packers fan said he is sticking with the NFL East and going with the 49ers, “The Super Bowl could go either way but I’ll stick with the NFC and go with the 49ers. I think (Colin) Kaepernick adds another element to the game and he’s going to be tough to stop … but man, the Ravens are looking good too. It could be a pretty entertaining game.”

Teammates, Martin Truex Jr. and Clint Bowyer:

MTJ: I just hope it’s a good game. I don’t have a dog in this fight so a good game would be my vote. Hopefully, something comes right down to the end so we can enjoy it all night long. San Francisco has been pretty impressive. My buddy, David Akers, is their kicker and so I was excited to see him get the opportunity to go to the Super Bowl. It’s been a few years since he’s went, so I’d like to see him win. I’d like to see him — he doesn’t have a Super Bowl ring and he’s been close a few times. It would be cool to see him get that.

CB: I don’t know how you can pick a favorite. I think the 49ers were extremely strong and had some things go their way just like you have to have to win a championship in any kind of sport. Certainly, the Ravens are full of confidence and momentum and had some things go their way as well. Man, I’m telling you it’s going to be one heck of a game. And, oh by the way, I’m going down to watch it.
