Free agent pitcher Jake Peavy is drawling interest from multiple teams including the Marlins, Giants and Braves.
The Marlins interest seems to be tied to the belief that recently acquired Dan Haren will end up retiring after being dealt from the Dodgers.
Both the Giants and Braves previously showed interest in Jon Lester but neither was willing to pony up the necessary funds to land him.

The 33-year-old Peavy is coming off a season in which he started 32 games for the Red Sox and Giants compiling a 4.11 ERA and a 1.28 WHIP.
While the Giants would like to retain him the Braves have long been linked to Peavy who is from Mobile, Alabama.
The expectation is that Peavy will not need a long term deal or a large salary. He has only made more than 27 starts twice since the his Cy Young Award winning season of 2007.
