The Padres could trade outfielder Seth Smith.
ESPN’s Jerry Crasnick reports he’s head Smith’s name often in trade talks. It’s worth nothing that any trade involving Smith will probably have to wait until the Padres figure out whether or not they will complete the Matt Kemp trade with the Dodgers. If the Kemp trade does go though, as well as the one for Wil Myeres, the Padres would have an excess of outfielders thus necessitating a trade.
Like @JeffPassan, I'm hearing #padres have another move coming. Hearing Seth Smith's name a lot.

Smith is due $6 million next season and has shown he is capable of being a nice addition to a line-up. He finished last year with a .266/.367/.440 line with 12 home runs and 55 runs scored.
