Ian Kinsler was traded by Texas Rangers and now the second baseman is not being shy about his feelings towards the club.

“I hope they go 0-162,” Kinsler told ESPN The Magazine in a piece published this week. “I got friends, and I love my friends, but I hope they lose their ass.”

“There was no remorse from the Rangers,” Kinsler says of the trade. “They did not care.”

In the piece Kinsler talks about his time with the Rangers and calls the general manager a “sleazeball” blaming him for Nolan Ryan’s exit from the front office.

Asked about the comments, Rangers manager Ron Washington replied.

“We won’t go 0-162,” Washington said. “Guaranteed.”

Well, at-least one man is happy about Kinler’s comments. Former teammate Josh Hamilton is taking Kinsler’s comments as a positive.

“At least I won’t be the only villain in Texas now,” the Angels outfielder told Jeff Fletcher of the Orange County Register.
