Adam Dunn went to the Oscars and when he came back to spring training, the red carpet was waiting for him. Oscar cut-outs and velvet ropes were there too as Dunn made his way to his locker.
Dunn went to the Oscars to see how “Dallas Buyers Club” performed. Dunn had a small role in the movie which ended ip winning three Academy Awards.
So was Dunn in demand? Hardly.
“Absolutely not, this is a different level of coolness,” Dunn said, via the Chicago Tribune. “That’s a level of coolness I haven’t seen before.”
Dunn did have some “social gatherings” after the Oscars but said “I know what a party is, and those aren’t parties.”
Dunn finished the 2013 season hitting .219 with 34 hom runs and 86 RBI.
