The Chicago White Sox could welcome right handed reliever Jesse Crain back to the team this weekend. Crain, 32, is one of several White Sox players who could be dealt ahead of MLB’s trade deadline on July 31.
Crain will throw bullpen sessions on Tuesday and Thursday and will then hope to be cleared for game action.
There had been a lot of speculation about who could trade for Crain prior to him going on the disabled list with a shoulder injury. Crain has a impressive 0.74 ERA and a 1.15 WHIP in 38 games this season. He will be a free agent at seasons end.
