US Soccer star Hope Solo was arrested overnight after she allegedly struck her sister and nephew. The attack took place at Solo’s home which she shares with her husband, former NFL player Jerramy Stevens.
Solo, 32, is being held without bail on two counts of domestic-violence assault.
Kirkland police Lt. Mike Murray said officers were called to the home because of an assault and a noise disturbance.
“There was a big party going on at her house. It was an out-of-control situation,” Murray said via the Seattle Times.
At some point during the party, Solo allegedly assaulted her sister and her nephew, he said. “There were visible injuries on them,” Murray said.
In 2012 it was Stevens who was charged with assaulting Solo. The case eventually fell to the wayside due to insufficient evidence and the couple was married days later.
