LeMahieu back in lineup for Yankees, Rizzo to DH

A day after playing the role of pinch hit hero, DJ LeMahieu is back in the starting lineup for the New York Yankees.

Given a day of rest, LeMahieu was called upon in the ninth inning and delivered a single to give the Yankees a 3-2 win over Toronto on Saturday to even the series.

Now the 34-year-old will return to the lineup for the series finale. With LeMahieu returning to the lineup the Yankees will shift Anthony Rizzo to the role of DH against Blue Jays starter Kevin Gausman.

Enter Sunday, LeMahieu has appeared in 10 games at third, two games at second, and has made one start at first. He owns a .250/.338/.467 line with two home runs.
