West is a vital part of the Pacers core, so its good to see him coming back. He is a two-time All-Star, and was Indiana’s second-leading scorer and second-leading rebounder. West is widely recognized as one of the team’s locker-room leaders. He will return to the team that pushed the defending champion Miami Heat to seven games in the Eastern Conference Finals after a regular season in which they finished 49-32.
West averaged 17.1 points, 7.7 rebounds and 2.9 assists last season.
