One Chicago Blackhawks fan celebrated Mother’s Day with a new baby boy. Donna Lebano went into labor one month early while watching the Blackhawks and Minnesota Wild play at the United Center Thursday.
“No way was I leaving,” Lebano said. “We are a Hawks family. I had to see the end of the game.”
Lebano was with her three sisters at the hockey game. Her first contraction hit during the second period. Lebano opted to stay at the game until the 5-1 finish.
Hours later, Lebano gave birth to a son who she named Owen Michael. He weighs 6 pounds, 5 ounces and is 19.5 inches long.
