Washington Capitals superstar Alex Ovechkin and his girl frield for a year, tennis star Maria Kirilenko, have gotten engaged.
Ovechkin has been playing overseas over during the NHL lockout. During Kirilenko’s tennis matches last summer he was a regular fixture cheering her on.
The news was first announced on twitter by Ovechkin. No photos of a ring have surfaced, yet.
