Dong Nguyen, the developer of mobile title Flappy Bird, says he’s removing his game from Apple’s App Store and Google Play.
Flappy Bird has risen to game over the last week but Nguyen says he plans to remove the game from downloadable content. Nguyen announced the news via twitter and said he was not interested in selling it.
“I cannot take this anymore,” he says.
Flappy Bird has soared to the top of the Free Games charts on both iTunes and Google Play.
The simplistic game features a bird that must navigate through a series of pipes. Contact with anything ends the game.

Philip Seymour Hoffman, 46, was found dead Sunday of an apparent overdose in his Manhattan home.
Hoffman stared in many great films, including “Moneyball”, “The Master” and the popular Hunger Games Series. He won a best actor Oscar in 2006 for his portrayal of writer Truman Capote in “Capote.” He was nominated for an Oscar four times in all. Hoffman’s upcoming films included the third movie in the Hunger Games Series, “Mockingjay,” “Gods Pocket, ” “A Most Wanted Man” and “Happyish” which are all set to be released in 2014.

The official said Mr. Hoffman, 46, was found in his West Village apartment around 11:30 a.m. by a friend who had become concerned at not being able to reach Mr. Hoffman.
Investigators found a syringe in his arm and an envelope containing what is believed to be heroin, the official said.
“It’s pretty apparent that it was an overdose,” the official said. “The syringe was in his arm.”
Hoffman was born in Rochester, New York, suburb of Fairport on July 23, 1967. He attended New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, graduating with a B.F.A. degree in Drama in 1989.
According to the NY Times, Hoffman had undergone treatment for a drug addiction and noted in interviews last year that he had “fallen off the wagon” in 2012 after 23 years of sobriety.
Hoffman’s family released a statement saying, “We are devastated by the loss of our beloved Phil and appreciate the outpouring of love and support.”
An autopsy is scheduled for Monday.

Detroit Tigers pitcher Justin Verlander and super model Kate Upton attended the GQ Pre SuperBowl Party — together. The two put all the rumors of their relationship to rest on Friday as they posed together for photos at The Standard Hotel’s Boom Boom Room in New York on Friday.
While there is no official word that they are in fact back together, a picture is worth a thousand words.
Upton, 21, wore a sleeveless black leather dress and maroon leather heels, while Verlander sported a black dress shirt, a tweed jacket and red slacks that matched her shoes to a tee.
Upton did the red carpet alone, but later pinned herself close to Justin with one arm wrapped around his neck and the other holding on to his right arm. Verlander showed his affection by placing his hand on her thigh. Multiple eyewitness reports say that Upton was “very affectionate” throughout the night with Verlander. She dismissed herself from the party at around 1:30 AM.
