US Snowboarder Jamie Anderson won the Gold medal in the Women’s Snowboarding Slopestyle event.
This was the first time that Slopestyle had been in the Olympics and the 23-year-old Anderson entered as one of the favorites. Anderson scored a 95.25 on her second run which placed her ahead of Enni Rukajarvi of Finland and Jenny Jones of Great Britain.
