Ashley Wagner’s bid for a second Olympic appearance appears to be over. Wagner, 25, finished fourth at the US skating Nationals on Friday and lashed out against judges for her scores.
The female skater previously had received a controversial bid to the 2014 games in Sochi after a fourth place appearance. She would later complain about anonymous judges scores after finishing seventh. Wagner won a bronze medal as part of team competition.
Upon learning she had failed to make the Olympic team Wagner took to Twitter to comment on not hearing to the games.
“As an athlete, I’m allowed to be mad. As a senior competitor with over 10 years of experience, I’m allowed to question things. At the end of the day, I laid out my best and I’m going home proud! Congrats to the lovely ladies of the team, you’ve got me in your cheering squad now!”

Karen Chen, Bradie Tennell and Mirai Nagasu will represent the US. Wagner was named first alternative just as she was in 2010.
