Notre Dame quarterback Tommy Rees was knocked out of Saturday nights game against the USC Trojans.

Rees was sacked in the third quarter by USC linebacker Will Dawson. After laying on the field for a few minutes he walked off the field and was given what appeared to be a test for a head injury. Rees was then taken to the locker room.

Rees had completed 14 of 21 passes for 166 yards and two touchdowns prior to the injury. He was replaced by Andrew Hendrix.
