BK Racing minority owner Anthony Marlowe posted an interesting tweet on Tuesday night suggesting that driver Cole Whitt would join Front Row Motorsports taking over the seat of the No. 34 car currently driven by David Ragan.
Motorsport.com reached out to Ragan on Wednesday at which time the 28-year-old driver told them he was unaware of any such changes. “I don’t know. I haven’t been told anything is changing on my end.”
Ragan joined Front Row Motorsports in 2012 and won a race at Talladega the following year. Long have rumors existed that suggested he would leave for other available seats but thus far none of them have turned out to be true.
Whitt left Swan Racing with Marlowe earlier this year joining BK Racing in a third car. He ended up with a season best run of 15th at Talladega and ended up 31st in the overall Sprint Cup Series point standings.
