Jered Weaver and his wife welcomed the birth of their first born. Jered and his wife Kristen have named their first son Aden David Weaver.
For those asking, the Weavers did in fact spell their new son’s name Aden in honor of Nick Adenhart.

Adenhardt was killed at 22 in 2009 after a drunk driver hit his car following a start against Oakland.
In Adenhardt’s brief MLB career he pitched in 2008 and 2009 with the Angels compiling a 1-0 record and a 6.00 ERA in four big league starts.
