Kyle Busch will compete in all three series at Texas

It was once the norm. Kyle Busch will compete in all three races at Texas this weekend marking just the second time he has done so this season.

Busch will drive the his No. 18 truck in the Camping World Truck Series race Friday night. Busch won back-to-back Truck Series races in 2009 and 2010.

Saturday Busch will drive his No. 54 Monster Energy Toyota in the Nationwide Series. Busch has not won a Nationwide Series race this season. If he fails to win a race before the seasons end it would be the first time since his partial season in 2003. Busch has had success at Texas in the Nationwide Series though. He won five straight races at Texas from April of 2008 to April 2010.

Then on Sunday Busch will compete in the Sprint Cup Series race. Considering his success at the trucks and Nationwide level it is surprising that Busch has never won a Cup Series race at Texas. He does have four finishes inside the top-five in his 14 starts and has led over 150 laps on two different occasions. Busch has one win in the Cup Series this year.
